The rest of the band secretly pools their money together and buys it for him. This makes Jorge ecstatic until the first rehearsal with the new guitar. Anything played on it comes out in a minor chord, with slight delay on it. This sounds so sad that it makes Xerceplex cry, even though they were rehearsing a happy poppy love song. Jorge Decides to do some research on the brand of guitar, and finds out that it came from an evil universe. Deciding he should take any chance he gets to rid this universe of some evil, he decides to return it to said universe, by tossing it through the vortex from whence it came. They arrive at the hula-hoop-sized portal, they muse about other worlds and the nature of evil for a moment, then throw the guitar through. Out comes a chair. Confused, they figure out the hard way that its an evil chair, from the same evil universe that spawned the guitar. (Note: This takes place off-camera. Its funnier.) They throw the chair back in, and a small, potted tree flies out. They hurl the tree in, and a childs bicycle pops through. This sequence continues in rapid succession, each item making a distinct sound. Xerc decides to block the portal with his body, and throw the next item through. The outgoing toaster knocks him off-balance, and he falls through. Out pops Xelpecrex, a nerdy, polite, well-spoken creature who looks exactly like Xerceplex, except with colors reversed. 0002000002FA000006272F4, They explain the situation to Xelp, who immediately figures it all out: The evil guitar was the twin of one that was smashed and burned by a performance artist in the evil world, as a statement about the nature of good and evil. This upset the natural balance of things, so when the evil guitar was returned, something else had to come back in its place, and the next thing on the list of mismatched items came through. The band realizes that they have to keep something evil in this universe, so they keep the toaster, and do the old crouch-behind-a-guy-and-push-him-over to swap Xelp back for Xerc. Xerc comes back disheveled and confused. Jorge makes some kind of comment about yin/yang and the balance of the universe. Xerc drools. Laughter.
